OUR COURSES
Old Course
The Old Course, inaugurated in the spring of 1930, is Sweden’s second oldest eighteen-hole course and a classic among Swedish park courses. Designed by architects Hawtree & Taylor, the course exhibits well-bunkered rippling greens in a traditional English style.
On the premier day, among the guests who scored a par and bogey was the crown prince Gustaf V, alongside prince Sigvard and consul general Carl Bergsten. They proclaimed with satisfaction: “This is one of the foremost courses in Sweden, well, in all of Scandinavia.” An opinion that still holds true today.
OUR COURSES
New Course
The club’s second course, New Course, was inaugurated in 1990. It was designed by Tommy Nordström and evokes a park/heath charm. It is a more open course than the Old Course and offers a diversified and fun game from its front tees, challenging players to master the hilly and rippling greens. Low handicappers, meanwhile, will enjoy the challenge of keeping the ball on the fairway by improving both distance and accuracy. Furthermore, well-bunkered greens and water hazards await the more experienced, tactical players.
The course has six tees per hole and the game strategy varies widely depending on from which one you choose to tee off. The course is 4248 metres from the shortest tee and 6069 metres from the longest tee.
